Costs & Billing

How are services billed?

In our practice, we apply the official Swiss "DENTOTAR®" tariff at a point value of CHF 1.10. Dentotar is based on calculations of the operating costs of Swiss dental practices. It enables transparent, comprehensible billing for patients, and reflects modern dentistry.

Thanks to its broad scale, Dentotar makes it possible to bill fairly for services provided, taking into account each patient's individual situation.

The following rates apply for social insurances: 

  • LAA/AI/AM : Dentotar CHF 1,-

  • LaMal : Tariff 94 at CHF 3.10

  • Hospice général/SPC Geneva: Dentotar CHF 1,-

How is billing and payment handled?

For new patients and occasional emergency appointments, we kindly ask you to pay on the spot. We accept cash, as well as the usual debit and credit cards (by card or telephone), with the exception of PostFinance Card.
Once you've become a loyal patient, we'll be happy to bill you for your treatments. Invoicing is done in stages, according to the phases and duration of treatment.

If necessary, don't hesitate to ask us for a payment arrangement, and we'll try to find a solution together.

Treatment plan and quotation

The type of treatment that is envisaged in your individual case defines the costs. We are transparent in this respect, to help you decide which services you would like to receive. Our fundamental aim is to ensure that our patients derive added value from their treatment. Once all the necessary exams have been carried out, and before any treatment begins, we will be happy to draw up a personalized quotation for your individual therapy.

Is it possible to draw up an estimate without a diagnosis?

The basis of a cost estimate is to know what medical services are required in your individual case. As a medical provider, we carry out treatments that have a direct impact on our patients' health. We are aware of this responsibility and take it very seriously. Please note, therefore, that in principle it is not possible to draw up a quotation without prior individual planning.
